We would like to give some information to clients so that you can better understand the bulk cargo trasportation process:
- Requires 50% deposit before signing the goods handling contract, no debt for bulk cargo, 50% payment when the cargo arrive at the POD.
- Bulk cargo will not have a DEM & DET like container cargo. Before booking a bulk ship, you need to MAKE SURE the CERTAIN DATE is the most appropriate to sign the LAYCAN. The ship's LAYCAN date is the date the cargo must be present at the ship owner's designated port (not allowed regardless of DELAY, the DET incurred if the LAYCAN time delay is quite large, up to 10,000-15,000 USD/DAY depending on the ship owner).
- When we get information from the shipping line about the AM and storage charges at the port will also be calculated starting from the day the ship arrives. Storage is not FREE, this cost is calculated according to RT.
